So, for many years, I didn't exactly get cars, or scooters, or personal transportation. Never bothered to get my license, because I couldn't really see myself driving without a good reason. It comes from having a good bus system in the area (Everett, Washington) and having plenty of free time.
Between being a reading addict, programming, writing, tutoring and mentoring people online, I've always had a pretty full plate.
Until they decided to move the bus system so that instead of a 2 mile, 5 minute trip, it's a 45 minute trip with a bus transfer.
Having to pay family to get groceries for you has gotten rather old fast.
But I just shrugged, and relaxed without worrying too much... up until the coronavirus hit.
I'll fully admit, the anime Yuru Camp/Laid Back Camp, gave me the idea of getting a scooter. (And with everyone doing social distancing, and keeping themselves mostly at home, I'll fully recommend it to show family what it's like for camping in Japan, via Scooter.)
And that started giving me ideas, which lead me to researching scooters, and lead me to here.
