DB is another guy who knows what fuel to use especially for vehicles intermittenly used or in winter storage.
I have used AVGAS 100LL for years after a recommendation from a motorcycle racing enthusiast. I use it today and will continue to use it in all my stored vehicles including Hondas and lawn & garden equipment. I mix the AVGAS with Stabil Storage, PRI-G and Sea-Foam in various combinations. I have not had any startability or running issues with it's use. I have had 6 Honda CH 250s, two Helixes and two PS 250s all using the fuel. On my two stoke equipment especially, it has cut down on carburetor fouling, poor performance and frequent carburetor overhauls or replacements.
As the mechanic at my local airport told me the story once of the airplane stored in the hanger there for nine years with a full tank of AVGAS. When pulled out of storage, half of the fuel had evaporated. They intalled a new battery, a shot of ether and a turn of the key and the plane started and ran beautifully.
Good enough for me.
