Hi from Cheshire UK

Postby stephencd1 » Sun Apr 28, 2019 2:25 am

Morning, thanks for letting me join the group.

I'm from The Wirral in the UK. I don't have a CH250 Helix but I want one. Cash is waiting, but finding one over here is bloody difficult.

I use to run the office for a bike courier firm "Pony Express Liverpool" in the late 80's early 90's. The bike shop that did all our servicing work would take the bikes in and give us a test bike to use. I rode everything they had, CBR600 CBR1000 Africa Twin and one day a CH250. How the lads laughed at that one. But once they had a go, you couldn't get the buggers to bring it back, they loved it. I had it for the weekend and rode with a bunch of Gold Wing guys round North Wales, no problems keeping up with them. I've a got an old photo somewhere, I'll post it. Now 25 years later I want one again, I've done Pacfic Coasts and Pan Europeans to death I want a Helix. Please help my addiction.

Hi Stephen...….have a look on 'maximuppets', last time I looked there were two CN250s for sale, non runners but maybe of interest.

If and when you find a Helix I am in Halifax and am fairly well up on the scoot if you need help.

Maximuppets is a forum for large twist&go scooters. Just type 'maximuppets' into google and it will take you to the forum. They are mostly about modern maxi scooters but there are a few Helix enthusiasts too.
