A Request, Everyone

This is the first time I have been able to visit the board since Saturday. My wife was in a pretty bad car accident Saturday on a local highway. She was banged up pretty badly, and her ankle was shattered into many pieces. It will be several weeks before they can do the surgery to put everything back together, and around 3 months before she is able to walk, drive, or do any of the things that most of us take for granted.

I am going to be very busy during this time, and won't have a lot of time to spend on the forum. I would appreciate you cooperation in limiting the drama, and emailing me if any spammers get in or a thread gets out of hand. You can do this by clicking on the envelope icon that appears in every post I have ever made (this one included), clicking on the red "report this post" icon in the offending post (it looks like a yield sign with an exclamation point), or by emailing the address that appears on the "contact" page at http://www.slonaker.net.

I also ask that anyone trying to join the forum please be patient. I will get to your registration eventually, but it may take longer than usual.

Thank you,

Patrick

Hope she feels better. Any spammers coming around will get a beat down.

We'll keep an eye on things, you do what you need to do, Patrick..

In return, if there's anything we can do for you, let us know.. Kiss your wife's forehead and tell her that we're all pulling for her..
