Morphous forum?

Postby pittguy » Mon Sep 17, 2012 9:34 pm

I ride an '86 Helix and will probably never give it up "pry from my cold, dead hands, etc." but I recently bought a 2008 Yamaha Morphous as a stablemate.

Obviously the Helix has seniority but does anyone know of a Morphous Forum?

Joined the Yahoo Morphous group, recommended a format similar to the HH Discussion Board and their moderator asked me to leave the forum. So much for opinions outside of what is that forum's norm. BTW there are several knowledgeable and friendly Morphous owners on that forum.

Just as well because I'm spoiled by the openness, friendly demeanor and welcome "thinking outside the box" attitude that permeates this Discussion Board.

I am in the Yahoo Helix group and I find it cumbersome. As a newb, my posts and uploads are monitored. I don't think my post from a few days ago has posted yet. Yahoo groups are more like the old list servers and they tend to fill your inbox.

This forum originally started as an email based list-serv close to 10 years ago. I hosted it through my website, though.

I'm not crazy about that format, and moved the board to a bulletin board format as soon as I was able. I lost few members at the time because they preferred doing everything via email. I guess it all just depends on your preference...
